We offer custom mountain bike rides on the beautiful Isle of Maui. You will experience high quality, top of the line bicycles. Also available Electric / Pedal assist (EMTB). We have both Hardtails & Full Suspension rigs (sizes M, L, XL). Trail locations: (Upcountry Maui, North Shore & Westside) . Terrain suitable to all abilities.

About Us.

Our story is pretty simple and revolves around Bikes, Trails and Riding! Founder Rob is a passionate rider of all things with 2 wheels. He has 40 years of experience riding locally on all of the islands, East/Western USA & In Between. Internationally some favorites include El Salvador, Costa Rica, NZ, Spain & Portugal.

As trail stewards, we volunteer our time maintaining the Jungle trails that just love keeping us busy.

FAQ's

-How is the Mountain Biking on Maui? The riding on Maui is unique to its environment. Trail types vary and include buff singletrack, natural single track with rocks and roots, flow trails with purpose built jumps and berms, skills areas (practice turns, skinnies, drops, jumps), and dirt roads. Riding you will find yourself mostly in forests, with some higher elevation riding above the tree line.

- Where are the bike trails on Maui? There are many trails in Maui, currently the legal bicycle trails are located upcountry in the Kula & Makawao forest reserves. There are also trails on the west side in Kapalua as well as some off the map places we would be happy to show you.

-Where are the best trails on Maui? Makawao Forest Reserve (KRA) followed by the Kula Forest Reserve.

-Where are the best trails on Oahu? -The Ohana Trails near Kailua, Pupukea & Kahuku on the N. Shore.

-When is the best season to ride in Hawaii? Hawaii has riding year round. The driest conditions are in the summer months (May- September) The Rainiest conditions are (November - April)

-Where are the trail conditions like in Maui? Most of the riding is a red clay base with a thin loose layer of loam, leaves and twigs from the trees above. Makawao forest climbing grade is 6% or greater. Generally you will pedal more elevation than miles compared to riding in the mainland. Kula forest reserve is a dark volcanic rock / soil which drains well.
